The Seventh Day Adventist diet is a very very healthy diet. It's a little similar to Dash diet. You eat a balanced variety of clean foods, mostly vegetarian but they eat a lot of salmon. You avoid red meet, pork, junk food. As Christians we should acknowledege all foods as clean according to Jesus's words in the New Testament, Mark 7:18-19. Hm.. but that was before Monsanto, GMO and the industrial age.
In the past, more physical work was done. Therefore, bread, wheat bread was an important and good source of energy. Today we are driving cars, sitting very still in front of the TV and then we do not need much energy. Too much wheat makes us fat. Proper intake is quite ok of course. And if you work out, you burn more energy and can eat more carbohydrates.

Good diets for weightloss
Here are some good diets to lose weight: LCHF, Ketogenic Diet, Atkins Diet, Paleo Diet, Dash Diet. These diets are pretty much the same. On LCHF, Ketogenic Diet, Atkins diet you stay low on the intake of carbohydrates and you eat more fat, meat, fish, chicken etc. The Dash Diet allows more carbohydrates. Paleo diet is about eating natural clean foods and avoiding dairy, cereal grains, legumes, and processed foods / junk food.
Ketogenic diet is a low-carb diet. You also eat fat such as butter, cheese, cream. You stay low on carbohyrates. I think all these diets are good. The all exlude white flour and sugar and this is an important step towards a better health. Anywy one should not eat to much white flour and sugar. Another tip: too much red meat is perhaps not so good in the long run. Also, don't eat too much salt. Too much salt is bad for your health.

LCHF - low carbohydrate high fat
LCHF means that you eat very little carbohydrates and you eat very much fat. This is really a healthy diet that makes you lose weight! Avoid carbohydrates. Skip white bread, buns, french fries, potatoes, bread, corn, rice and sugar. Eat vegetables to your meat instead. Carbohydrates is energy. The energy you don't burn during exercise is stored as fat in your body. French fries, white bread, corn, rice and sugar etc contains very much carbohydrates. Cut down on it or skip it for a while.
Warning, don't combine high fat with much sugar and high carbohydrates.
There are healthier alternatives to regular bread and also other sweeteners to use instead of regular sugar. You can use these alternatives in your cooking, baking and eat tasty food and delicious desserts and lose much weight at the same time.

Paleo diet means that you eat a lot of Grass-fed meat, free range poultry, fish, eggs, vegetables, natural oils, fruits, nuts, tubers.
